Are you an experienced Sprinter Driver? Are you customer focused? We are currently looking for a Full Time Permanent Sprinter Van Driver to join our fleet of courier drivers, to work in our well established, market leading, sameday courier business, based in Castle Donington.
You’ll be in the driving seat of a varied position where no two days are the same. An opportunity to work independently, but also safe in the knowledge that everything you do is supported by your “ACE” colleagues.

Yes, you will drive long distance’s but you won’t do multi drop, just imagine every day being out on the open road, seeing the sights, without having to continually stop and start your journey. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Be the face of “ACE” delivering for customers on a nationwide basis
- Arrive at our Castle Donington depot and get comfy in your allocated vehicle for the day
- Carry out vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift
- Drive to your collection and delivery destination/s
- Liaise with our office based operations team, who will help ensure your collections and deliveries are performed as easily and swiftly as possible
- Help us maintain our vehicles by making sure they are kept clean and tidy inside and out
Ideal Candidate:
- You will live in the Derby/Nottingham/Loughborough area and have your own transport
- Enjoy driving and preferably hold dedicated delivery driving experience
- Confident in driving Sprinter vans or similar vehicles plus not fazed by long distance driving
- Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly with the willingness to go that extra mile
- Be able to present a current driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
There are two shift patterns you would be required to work. Your shift pattern for the following week will be notified each Friday:
1) Shiftpatterns are as follows:
Earlies week – pre-booked run Tuesday to Saturday - morning starts from 3/4am, finishing early/late afternoon. Saturday morning finishing by lunchtime. Some Mondays at peak times. Some on call work.
Lates week - Monday to Friday only - later morning starts between breakfast time and early afternoon, finishing early/late evening.
** Actual start times vary on a daily basis according to customer demand.
