Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on punctuality and safety.
Duties
- Conduct multiple daily deliveries to various customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety protocols
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies during all driving activities
Must have LWB van driving and multi drop experience - routes are between West Lothian and Edinburgh area delivering for DHL.
