We work closely with our Clients from Local Authorities and leading civil engineering, construction and utilities companies in addition to providing temporary traffic management solutions for large sporting events and film & television production companies.
Glenmavis Traffic Management are currently undergoing a programme of expansion and has recenly moved to a new premises just off the M77 at Femwick, which is just over 10 minutes from Glasgow.
This expansion is a result of having recently secured work on the major contracts across Central and Southern Scotland and we currently have a number of vacancies for Fully Qualified Traffic Management Operatives, IPV Drivers and Supervisors to cover the Scotland Area.
Therefore, we are encouraging applications for flexible and reliable Traffic Management Operatives to undertake the installation, maintenance and recovery of traffic management systems such as temporary traffic lights, stop/go, road closure/diversions and lane closures etc.

Traffic Management Operative
Your Profile and Responsibilities
Ideally you will be Lantra qualified, holding M1, M2 and M5 qualifications, however where necessary, Glenmavis Traffic Management will provide you with any additional training and qualifications you need to become a fully certified Traffic Management Operative and we also offer further Lantra training to operatives who wish to progress within the industry.
We promote mobile working and operate a digital handheld device which allows you to start your working day from home where possible. We will also provide you with a vehicle and full branded PPE in order for you to carry out your role.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- You'll have a flexible approach to your work and enjoy working as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- A good level of physical fitness to undertake the role
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours to meet the needs of the business
- The rate of pay is negotiable dependent on qualifications, experience and knowledge.
