Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods with personalized touches to meet customer specifications
- Prepare icing, fondant, and decorative elements using various techniques such as piping and molding
- Collaborate other kitchen staff to ensure timely production of decorated items for daily orders and special events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in selecting appropriate ingredients and supplies for decorating projects, ensuring quality control
- Provide excellent customer service by discussing design options and offering creative suggestions for custom cakes
- Follow all food safety regulations and uphold sanitation practices throughout the decorating process
Qualifications
- A friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive experience for every customer.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or cake decorating is an advantage, but not essential.
- Full training will be provided, so we're looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
- Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
- Part-time and full-time opportunities available, including flexibility to work weekends and during busy periods.
