We are responsible for the construction and maintenance of Supermarkets.
This can include things like...
- Painting new stores
- Shelving repairs
- Painting/ Decorating
- Changing taps/ stopping leaks (basic plumbing)
- Carpentry
- Cleaning
- Changing floor tiles
- Changing wall tiles
- Small groundworks - paving slabs/ filling potholes
- Fence repairs of installation
- Minor locksmithing
We need an experienced multi-trader/ handyman/ maintenance operative to join our team full time as soon as possible.
The work is in many different supermarkets across the South and midlands.
The work is mainly Monday-to-Friday, but we need someone who can be available on some weekends.
(Supermarket is open 7 days a week, and we get emergency callouts sometimes!)
We will provide a van, fuel, credit card for work purchases and materials.
Pay is hourly and is open to discussion for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will...
- Have a Full UK Driving license
- Experience working in a place full of the general public.
- Your own tools.
- A range of maintenance/handyman experience and skills
- Be able to communicate with store managers.
- Be able to use a mobile phone to open messages/ take photos of completed work and open reports and works diagrams.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
