Hours: Long Days: 8:00am – 9:00pm - Early: 08:00am - 14:30pm - Late: 14:30pm - 21:00pm
Gorsey Clough Nursing Home is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our Day Team. We are a specialist dementia nursing home, providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents with advanced dementia, including those who may present with behaviours that challenge. We are proud to be rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission.
Our home has been recently refurbished to create a modern, dementia-friendly environment and is supported by user-friendly technology, including Electronic Care Planning and eMARs, to help maintain excellent standards of care.

We are an independently owned nursing home set in a picturesque location. We specialise in delivering exceptional person-centred care to residents with both nursing and mental health needs.
Role Requirements
We are looking for patient, attentive, and caring individuals who are able to:
- Provide high-quality personal care to residents with advanced dementia
- Support residents with nutrition, hydration, and overall wellbeing
- Work in accordance with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Maintain accurate and professional documentation
- Work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative
- Support residents who may present with behaviours that challenge, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding
Additional Requirements:
- Part-time or full-time positions available
- Weekend and Bank Holiday working required, with fair rota allocation
- You must have the right to work in the UK; we do not sponsor visas
- If successful at interview, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
- UK applications only. Applications from outside the UK will not be considered
