Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to execute projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and optimize performance
- Diagnose electrical problems efficiently and implement effective solutions promptly
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted
- Collaborate with other trades or team members to complete complex installations or repairs
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on work involving electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is highly desirable
