Domiciliary Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide personalised support to clients within their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their wellbeing. Our clients include both adults and children with a range of support needs, and the successful candidate will be expected to provide care that is tailored to each individual's requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Carry out light domestic duties including laundry, cleaning, and organising the home environment.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
- Support children and young people with daily routines, activities, and community access where required.
- Follow individualised care plans accurately and report any changes in condition or wellbeing to supervisors.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and company procedures are followed at all times.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in a domiciliary care, home care, children's care, or support work setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential, as travel between clients' homes is required.
- Good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic IT skills for recording notes and communication.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
- Compassionate, caring, and professional attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently whilst also being part of a team.

Pay: £12.82 per hour
