Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts/Admin Assistant to support our administrative and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial data entry. Prior office experience and proficiency with computer software are essential for this role.
Duties
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document organisation
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes using Xero and other accounting software
- Various bank reconciliations
- Payroll cover
- Maintaining accurate financial records and processing invoices
- Handling correspondence via email and phone with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette
- Supporting team members with administrative
- Assisting with general office duties to ensure an efficient working environment
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero is desirable
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong typing skills to facilitate efficient document processing
- Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
- Administrative experience demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic understanding of financial processes and clerical procedures
