Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, blowouts, and special occasion updos with precision and flair.
- Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk by greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing client flow efficiently.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and boost salon revenue.
- Stay current with the latest trends in hair fashion, techniques, and industry innovations through ongoing education and training.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized according to health standards to provide a safe environment for clients and staff.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
- Knowledge of store management principles is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the salon or spa environment.
- Skilled in barbering techniques along with expertise in eyelash extensions and makeup application is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients, understand their preferences, and deliver personalized services.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service that fosters client loyalty and satisfaction.
- Experience in mentoring team members or leading small groups is beneficial for those aspiring to supervisory roles.
- Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
