Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner in the Wittering area to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential properties, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for clients. Prior experience in cleaning or related fields is advantageous, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking flexible working hours. However fixed hours to suit is possible for the right applicant. Equipment and uniform is provided and the position is on a self employeed basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas within clients’ homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure surfaces are hygienic and spotless.
- organise and declutter spaces to enhance the overall appearance of the property.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Maintain a respectful and professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in high end cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and build positive relationships.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality cleaning results.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to instructions plus also work in a team when required.
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout the day.
- Must be able to drive with a car to travel between cleans.
