Temporary (Maternity Cover)

We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
Whether you're looking to take your first step into an accounts role, or you're an experienced accounts professional looking for a temporary position, we'd love to hear from you.
If you've got the right attitude, enjoy working with people and don't mind getting stuck in, we'll happily teach you the rest.
What you'll be doing
No two days are exactly the same, but you'll mainly be helping to keep our sales ledger running smoothly by:
- Raising customer invoices
- Sending statements
- Chasing outstanding payments in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering customer account queries
- Allocating customer payments
- Supporting the finance team with general sales ledger duties
- Helping with other day-to-day administrative tasks when needed
What we're looking for
We're much more interested in finding the right person than ticking every box.
You'll probably be someone who:
- Enjoys being organised
- Has a good eye for detail
- Is confident speaking to customers
- Likes working as part of a team
- Is willing to learn
- Can manage their own workload
- Has a positive attitude
Experience in accounts is great, but it's certainly not essential if you're keen to learn.
