You will be joining a company who both source and deliver the widest range of high-quality natural stone materials for every kind of project and sell to the public,trade and wholesale markets. With products ranging from paving, pool copings, worktops, stone care products and more, Stoneworld is in search of a motivated individual that is excited by a hands-on job to help us deliver the best service to our world-class clients.
Main responsibilities:
Assisting the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to pick orders according to customer requirements, in a timely manner.
Maintaining the yard and carrying out all activities required in this area.
Carrying out general labouring duties within a busy work environment.
Loading and unloading stone using a counterbalance forklift or hand balling.
Moving and stacking stone.
Taking responsibility for your own health and safety whilst at work, in accordance with Stoneworld's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
Completing other related tasks required in the business from time to time.
Skills required:
A counter balance forklift licence (essential).
Relevant experience desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Being able to work using your own initiative, with a positive attitude.
A full clean driving license due to the nature of the role.
Ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently.
Ability to work hard in a physically demanding outdoor environment, in all-weathers
Hours: 07:30-17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break, plus tea breaks.
You will also be required to work one in three Saturdays on a rota. Retention Bonus Scheme available.
Salary: £30,000.00 per year.
Job type: Full-time, Pernament.
Work Location: In person.
Stoneworld is located outside of Oxford in a rural setting, near to Junction 8 of the M40. Due to the limited bus service you will need to be able to travel to our premises.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
