Job description:
Red Recruitment Group are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers in your area! We have vacancies for our leading haulage client in Warwick. Immediate starts also available.
The work will involve driving Class 1 refrigeration/Curtain Sider & Box Vehicles, delivering throughout the UK with collections. DC to DC and store deliveries, collections are also included.
Shifts : Days, Nights & Weekends available!
Pay Rates : £16.00 - £19.50
Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence with C entitlement
- Digital tachograph and CPC cards
- Be professional at all times
- Have a flexible approach to work
- No more than 6 points on your license

Experience:
- Driving Class 1 : 6 months minimum
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required C)
- Driver CPC (required)
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential.
- A valid commercial driving licence (C or equivalent) is required.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
