Ellisons are looking for an experienced PSV Mechanic to join our garage team.
We are a bespoke company dealing with bespoke vehicles and clients so applicants must be able to work to tight deadlines as well to a high standard.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to work alone as well as manage your workload and use your initiative while prioritising work and defects
Essential :
- City & Guilds Level 3, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- PCV Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
- Electrical knowledge
- Familiar with Vanhool, Irizar and DAF engines
- Air conditioning
- IRTEC – Service Maintenance Inspection accreditation – must be willing to obtain within 12 months
Required Experience
- 3 years’ experience as a heavy vehicle fitter
- Excellent standards of work to exceed DVSA guidelines
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to an accurate and high standard
- Awareness of health and safety obligations always.
- DBS Check
