Senior Property & Compliance Manager
Location: Brighton Office (Patcham) – with travel across Sussex, Hampshire & Kent
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum ++, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced Property, Estates or Facilities Manager looking to make a lasting impact across social care assets?
We’re looking for a Senior Property & Compliance Manager to take a lead role in managing our estate across Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.
This is a senior position - responsibility for £30 million+ of operational property assets will keep you on your toes. You will need to be highly organised, combine strategic planning with practical problem solving and have an eye on the detail at all times. Working with your estates team, you will have a chance to leave a lasting impact for all our residents and staff.
Working closely with the Strategic Director, Property Managers, Site Managers and maintenance teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our properties are safe, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Taking overall responsibility for property compliance, health & safety and estate management.
- Leading the estates team and overseeing property inspections, planned maintenance and compliance programmes.
- Managing contractors, procurement and suppliers to really drive quality and value for money.
- Managing capital works projects of up to £250,000, while supporting larger projects and annual team budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Managing property and maintenance budgets and monitoring expenditure.
- Leading property initiatives, supporting new property acquisitions and being responsible for integration of new businesses.
- Driving energy efficiency and sustainability improvements across the estate.
- Maintaining accurate property, maintenance and compliance records and improving systems and processes.
- Be accountable for all property projects, delivering business cases and reporting to senior leadership.
- Providing advice and support to Site Managers and responding effectively to estates and facilities queries.
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced professional with:
- Proven experience in Property, Estates or Facilities Management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a care environment
- Experienced in managing budgets, contractors, procurement and capital projects.
- First rate communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to make decisions and manage competing priorities.
- Experience preparing reports and providing updates to senior leaders.
- Degree qualified. Relevant qualifications in facilities management, health and safety, or property management and membership of a professional body are desirable (e.g., RICS, MTPI, NEBOSH, IWFM).
- A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle for business use and willingness to travel across our sites.
