Job Summary
Sparkl Spaces is a cleaning company serving customers since 2017. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cover Cleaner to join our cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential cleaning services to ensure safe and welcoming spaces for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other public areas, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all designated areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working independently or as part of a team.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting moderate loads.
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities if necessary.
- A positive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a professional environment.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
