The Position: Data Analyst (Nuclear)
The Data Analyst will play a key role within the Data & Analytics function, supporting nuclear operations through high‑quality data engineering, reporting, and analytical insight. Working closely with operational teams, engineers, safety specialists, and senior leadership, you will develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical models.
This role acts as a central link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that data is transformed into meaningful insights that support safety, performance, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision‑making.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Data Analyst will include:
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest data from operational systems, sensors, maintenance logs, and regulatory datasets.
- Use Azure Databricks (SQL/PySpark) to transform, cleanse, and model large datasets for analytical consumption.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support operational performance, asset health monitoring, outage planning, and safety KPIs.
- Apply Power Query to shape and prepare data for reporting and self‑service analytics.
- Ensure data lineage, quality, and governance meet nuclear regulatory standards, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
- Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection to support proactive operational decision‑making.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements and analytical solutions.
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, supporting informed decision‑making.
