Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified engineer with MCS certification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and extensive experience in equipment maintenance and repair, particularly within air conditioning and construction environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to the optimisation of operational efficiency across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, including air conditioning units and construction-related equipment.
- Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Lead maintenance teams during complex repair projects, ensuring safety standards and operational protocols are adhered to.
- Oversee equipment installation, upgrades, and refurbishment activities in compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan maintenance schedules that minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot system faults promptly to minimise operational disruptions and optimise system performance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical systems maintenance, repair, or installation within industrial or construction environments.
- Demonstrable knowledge of schematics interpretation and technical documentation related to mechanical equipment.
- Leadership experience in supervising or guiding maintenance teams during complex projects.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, their components, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures.
- Background in equipment repair with a focus on ensuring reliability and longevity of machinery.
- Construction experience is highly desirable, particularly in relation to site preparation, equipment setup, or infrastructure development.

Pay: £28,323.09-£63,722.67 per year
