Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled self employed Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate is required to have a valid drivers licence and have use of their own van. The work consists of internal and external decorations for local managment estates and void work
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on design choices.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.
- Drive to various job locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting and decorating is required
- Ability to communicate fluently in English to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is required
- Use of your own van
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for colour matching and finishing techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
