Are you a Psychology graduate looking to build the experience needed for a career in Educational Psychology, Teaching or SEND?
Step Into Teaching is working with a specialist SEN school in Coalville to recruit graduates for a full-time, paid role starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs while strengthening your CV for postgraduate study or teacher training.
Salary: £500-£520 per week
Contract: Full-time | Monday-Friday | Term Time Only
The Role
Working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
- Work with children with Autism (ASC), SEMH, MLD and communication needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions to develop confidence, communication and independence.
- Support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Build positive relationships that help pupils thrive.
We're Looking For
- A 2:2 degree or above (Psychology or a related subject preferred).
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
