Full-Time Fulfilment Assistant (Picker/Packer & Administration)

Hours: Monday to Friday (8am-1pm) or Full-Time (8am-5pm)
Twist Teas, a family-run business with a passion for innovative, great-tasting blends, is looking for a reliable and proactive Fulfilment Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our growing brand. Based in Harpenden, this is a hands-on role that combines order fulfilment, stock management and customer service with administrative duties, including regular use of Xero accounting software.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is confident using computer systems and software.
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking and packing tea orders and samples with care (moderate heavy lifting required).
- Generating shipping labels and product labels.
- Processing orders and invoices using Xero accounting software.
- Assisting with bookkeeping and administrative tasks within Xero.
- Managing and organising stock levels.
- Responding to customer queries via email and phone in a friendly and professional manner.
- Writing clear, accurate and grammatically correct emails and packing notes.
- Using our online systems, including Google Drive, Xero and our ecommerce platform.
- Working closely with the sales team to fulfil internal and external order requests.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience using Xero accounting software.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using cloud-based systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Friendly, positive and professional attitude.
- High standards of personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
