Job Overview
Know How Resourcing is recruiting a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to join our client in Doncaster. This role is key to ensuring our warehousing, distribution, asset refurbishment, and installation operations consistently meet the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for inspecting products, monitoring processes, identifying quality issues, and working closely with operational teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics and refurbishment environment.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 on, 3 off rotating shift pattern
- 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality inspections on incoming goods, refurbished assets, and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure products and services meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Identify, investigate, and report quality issues, defects, or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Work closely with warehouse, refurbishment, and installation teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality processes.
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and best practices.
- Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure all inspection equipment and documentation are maintained and up to date.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Inspection role within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, refurbishment, or a similar environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
