Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabrication Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of precision-engineered products. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Duties
To operate machinery in the fabrication department in a safe and efficient manner.
· Ability to recognize, solve and implement required changes for machining related problems
· Following instructions from Supervisor, ensuring that all orders are completed in a timely manner in accordance with set targets.
· Completion of production paperwork.
· Carrying out quality checks on finished products in line with Company procedures.
· Cleaning and packing of products to the expected standard and instructions
· Keeping work area clean and tidy.
· Setup, check and run programs on CNC machinery without assistance.
· Ensure tooling / Jigs & fixtures are returned to correct position clean and ready for next use.
· Maintain adherence to all Company procedures and Legislation including Health & Safety and ISO 9001.
· A continuous approach to improvement at all times.
· Plus any other ad hoc duties and assisting other departments where necessary, including picking, packing, cleaning, deburring etc.
Essential:
· Readiness to develop and learn new skills.
· Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
· Communicating with others in a professional manner
· Perfect time keeping and attendance record
· Awareness of the importance of Health and Safety.
· Ability to follow written instruction and communicate with others in a timely manner.
Desirable:
· Engineering background/knowledge
· Experience using CNC machines, preferably Elumatec.
· Experience working with aluminium.
· Computer skills.
· Knowledge of machine tooling.
· Use of measuring equipment
· Experience working shift patterns
Physical Requirements
· Physically fit and able to lift weights up to 20kg
· The role requires the employee to be standing and physically active for long periods of time.
Hours: 6am - 6pm, 2-week cycle: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. (Would consider Monday – Friday). The salary is dependent on experience and includes a shift allowance. Bonus scheme after 12 months of employment

Vision Profiles are now looking for 1 production operatives to join their fabrication teams. The successful candidate will be dependable, flexible, have a willingness to learn and a keen eye for detail. Previous CNC experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
