Care Support Worker – Bank / Relief Staff/Driving Licence Essential due to travel commitments

MARA Care & Support Services are currently recruiting experienced Care Support Workers to join our bank (relief) staff team, in preparation for forthcoming care packages.
This role is suited to experienced care professionals seeking flexible bank work, with the opportunity for more regular hours as services commence and grow.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support within service users’ homes
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing
- Support with personal care, daily living tasks, and social support as per care plans
- Maintain accurate records and work in line with MARA Care policies and procedures
Please note: This is a bank / relief position. Shifts will be offered once care packages are allocated and start dates are confirmed.

- Recruitment is taking place ahead of service commencement
- Successful applicants will be contacted and offered work as soon as care packages go live
- Bank staff will be prioritised for available shifts
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a Care Support Worker role
- Driving License Essential due to travel commitments
- Registered with the SSSC (or eligible and actively registered)
- Existing PVG Disclosure Scotland clearance
- Willingness to undertake a new PVG through MARA Care & Support Services
- Willingness to complete MARA Care induction prior to starting work
- Willingness to undertake training in:
- Moving & Handling
- Medication Awareness(Refresher training will be provided on an ongoing basis)
- Right to work in the UK
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
