GreenReach Scaffolding Ltd is looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated Scaffold Labourer to join our growing team.
Working alongside our scaffolders, you will assist with the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding for residential and commercial projects, with a particular focus on supporting solar PV installations. This is a physically demanding role that offers excellent opportunities for training and career progression within the scaffolding industry.
No previous scaffolding experience is essential, although construction experience is beneficial. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist scaffolders with the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding.
- Load, unload and transport scaffold materials to and from sites.
- Pass scaffold tubes, boards and fittings safely to scaffolders during erection and dismantling.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment on site.
- Carry out manual handling duties in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Inspect scaffold materials and report any damaged or defective equipment.
- Help prepare scaffold vehicles before leaving the yard.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use.
- Follow instructions from scaffolders and supervisors at all times.
- Represent GreenReach Scaffolding professionally when working at customers' homes and commercial premises.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
- Ability to work safely at height when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in construction, labouring or scaffolding.
- CSCS Labourer Card.
- Experience working on domestic construction sites.
- Manual handling training.
- First Aid qualification.
