Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea and surrounding areas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our clients' independence and well-being, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering personalized home care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and families
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with the care team
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in home care or a similar role is preferred
- Full training will be offered
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is essential
- Empathy and patience when working with diverse populations
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
