Specialty Coffee Shop Assistant Manager

We are growing with intention, and as part of that growth, we are looking for an Assistant Manager to join one of our central London stores.
About You
You’re someone who loves coffee, thrives in hospitality, and enjoys supporting and developing a strong team. You lead by example, bring positive energy to the floor, and care deeply about delivering memorable customer experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role
- A genuine passion for specialty coffee, people, and hospitality
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support all areas of the business
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A desire to learn, grow, and progress within a fast-growing company
- Based in London and fully authorised to work in the UK
The Role
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll support the shop manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop while helping create an outstanding environment for both customers and staff in one of our specialty coffee shops.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high operational standards, supporting team performance, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the shop manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the team
- Assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
- Maintain high standards of coffee quality, cleanliness, and customer service
- Help drive sales and improve overall service standards
- Support rota management and labour cost control
- Assist with team training, onboarding, and ongoing development
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the Manager’s absence
- Ensure health, safety, and company standards are consistently followed
