A position has become available for a Full Time Sales Administrator to join our friendly team in Borehamwood. Full training will be given to a suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records within Sage 200 to ensure all customer and transactional records are maintained to a high standard.
- Prepare and issue customer quotations to support the sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement.
- Process card payments in line with company procedures and financial controls.
- Respond to customer and supplier enquiries professionally, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical documentation.
- Provide proactive administrative support to the sales and operational teams to ensure the efficient running of business activities.
- Maintain and update quarry reference data, including spreadsheets, customer collection rates, and base cost information.
- Monitor and manage quarry material stock levels.
- Process and manage quarry supplier invoices.
- Support the day-to-day operational administration of the quarry.
- Ensure customer accounts remain within agreed credit limits.
- Liaise effectively with staff in our London Rock Southern office to ensure smooth operations.
- Enter haulage documentation, including compiling weekly job schedules, maintaining spreadsheets, and reconciling haulage tickets with job sheets.
- Maintain accurate job records and pricing within Sage, ensuring all information is current and correct
Key requirements:
· Excellent spoken and written English
· Computer Literate, including Microsoft Office Packages
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Proactive and able to manage own workload effectively
· Able to work well both as part of a team and independently
· Great time management and organisational skills
