PROJECT PLANNER / PLANNING MANAGER

DATA CENTRE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
We are looking for an experienced Project Planner through to Planning Manager to join the delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-value, technically complex mission-critical development with a leading construction business.
We're interested in planners at different levels, from Project Planner / Senior Planner through to Planning Manager, provided you have strong data centre experience.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for managing and developing project programmes from pre-construction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing programmes using Primavera P6
- Producing construction and pre-construction programmes
- Managing project baselines, milestones and critical path
- Monitoring progress and identifying programme risks
- Producing regular programme updates and reports
- Reviewing and integrating subcontractor programmes
- Coordinating CSA and MEP packages
- Carrying out critical path and programme impact analysis
- Supporting change management and EOT assessments
- Developing look-ahead and recovery programmes
- Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Design and Construction teams
- Attending client and subcontractor meetings
- Providing planning updates to senior management
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience as a Project Planner, Senior Planner, Lead Planner or Planning Manager
- Proven Data Centre experience – ESSENTIAL
- Experience working on hyperscale or mission-critical projects
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Good understanding of construction sequencing
- Experience managing complex construction programmes
- Understanding of CSA / MEP interfaces
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
DESIRABLE
- Hyperscale data centre experience
- NEC contract experience
- Delay analysis / claims / EOT experience
- Earned Value Management
- BIM / 4D planning experience
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification
