With a strong focus on career development, we’ll support you with training and opportunities to progress your skills within Sodexo. Your rota will be provided six weeks in advance, helping you plan your time, and you’ll only be required to work one weekend in every three.
There are also opportunities to earn extra through overtime and the chance to work across other Sodexo sites, giving you the opportunity to gain new experiences and develop your career further.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in a busy and rewarding kitchen environment.
- Deliver an excellent food service experience for military personnel, maintaining consistently high standards.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and Environmental Health regulations to ensure a safe and compliant kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen while following best practices in sanitation and food preparation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver daily service, bulk catering, and special events.
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Cook within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.
- A relevant culinary qualification, such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery, is desirable but not essential. Full training and development support is available for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment while maintaining high standards.
- A passion for food, strong attention to detail, and basic IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
