National Sameday is a leading aviation logistics and courier company operating across six major UK airports. We are looking for a reliable and professional 3.5T Van Driver to join our busy Luton operation.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, competitive salary, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, time-critical logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5T van to transport goods and materials across the UK.
- Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently.
- Complete deliveries within agreed schedules and deadlines.
- Follow routes and instructions provided by the Operations Team.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent National Sameday professionally at all times.
- Comply with all road traffic legislation, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Good driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, van driver, or within logistics is desirable.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Flexible approach to working in a time-sensitive logistics operation.
Aviation Security & Compliance Requirements
As a CAA-regulated business, successful applicants must be able to provide:
- 5 years' address history.
- 5 years' employment, education, benefits, or character reference history.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
Successful candidates will also be required to complete:
- Criminal Record Check (CRC/DBS).
- Airside Pass Application.
- Driver Assessment.
