Summary:
We’re recruiting reliable Class 1 Drivers. You’ll handle timed runs, follow all driver compliance, and maintain a professional standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Class 1 vehicles — Day, Nights Or trunking, RDC runs, store deliveries.
- Vehicle checks — complete daily walk‑arounds and report defects.
- Tacho & WTD compliance — follow all legal driving/rest rules.
- Paperwork accuracy — PODs, delivery notes, and route logs.
- Safe loading — ensure trailer security and correct coupling/uncoupling.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- CPC & Digi Card
- Experience with curtainsiders or box trailers preferred
- Good communication and reliability
Pay: £17.50-£18.50 per hour
Experience:
- Class 1: 1 year (preferred)
