Must be able to start immediately. The successful applicant must be energetic, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude to work and be able to work as part of a team. The job involves a large amount of manual lifting, mainly moving furniture, boxes etc. All applicants must be able to do this and therefore will need a reasonable level of fitness. Time management skills and a positive attitude are essential.
The job will require the successful applicant to work away from home in the UK and across Europe, as we have regular runs to Scandinavia, France, Germany. You will be required to take a turn on the trips away and nights out, but usually you will not be away every week. Due to the aspect of the European removals the applicant will need an up to date passport, or be willing to apply for one.
Because of the location of our depot the applicant MUST have a driving licence. Experience within the removal trade would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
An interest in HGV's would certainly be a benefit as the natural progression is to train for your HGV licence which is sponsored by the company.
