We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our friendly team. This is a key leadership role supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, while also leading on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision.
You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality care, education, and inclusion for all children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the daily operation of the nursery
- Work alongside staff as a role-model
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Ensure all children receive inclusive, high-quality learning experiences
- Support, mentor, and inspire staff to maintain excellent practice
- Assist with safeguarding, policies, and compliance with EYFS standards
- Step in to lead the nursery in the Manager’s absence
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 full and relevant qualification in Early Years (Level 5+ desirable)
- Previous experience in a senior nursery role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A passion for inclusion and supporting every child to reach their potential

Pay: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
