Job Title: Labourer / Driver / Small Stock Controller

Job Type: Full Time, temporary for initial 6 momths with a view to permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: 39 hours per week
· Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
· Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
About the Role
Maclin Electric is an established electrical contractor with its Head Office in Musselburgh, East Lothian, operating on projects across Scotland. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and conscientious Labourer/Driver to join our team in Aberdeen.
This is a temporary position for an initial six months, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. The role is based on site in Aberdeen, so it is best suited to candidates already living within a reasonable commute of the city. There is no requirement to travel to our Musselburgh office.
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting our busy electrical operatives and projects for a range of valued clients. You will assist with the delivery of materials and van stock, support general labouring duties and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to active service projects
- Manage and control small item stock
- Carry out general labouring duties, as required
- Support operatives on electrical projects
- Assist with maintaining organised and efficient site operations
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous labouring experience
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain – training can be provided)
- Full, clean driving licence
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
