Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in a new start-up Community cafe located in the heart of the Nelson. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and soft drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment to brew beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service
- Assist with food preparation as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment and help colleagues when needed

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
