Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner/Mould Maker specializing in cast stone products to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining moulds used in the production of high-quality cast stone components. Your expertise will ensure precision craftsmanship, efficient tooling setup, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of durable architectural elements and decorative features, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and fabrication skills to bring designs to life.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble moulds for cast stone products using hand tools, and machining techniques
- Operate cutting machines, lathes, and other machinery to shape and refine mould components with precision.
- Handle materials safely within warehouse environments, ensuring proper storage and materials handling procedures
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret technical drawings and translate them into accurate moulds
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material estimations during fabrication processes
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, woodworking, or joinery with a focus on mould making or similar craftwork
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling setup, assembly processes, and materials properties
- Warehouse experience including inventory management and safe handling of construction materials
- Ability to use hand tools effectively along with basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments
