Lochmaben Golf Club has recently completed extensive refurbishment works and upgrades to its clubhouse facilities. As our business continues to grow and we extend our opening hours, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team.
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team in delivering high quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meal preparation, food safety, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Previous restaurant experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support the catering team in preparing ingredients and organising kitchen supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with serving meals to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Support the team during busy periods by performing additional tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
