Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant or store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, including cooks, servers, baristas, and support staff, fostering a positive work environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and food safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate food production to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health codes, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures across all areas of the establishment
- Train new staff on service protocols, food handling, safety procedures, and customer engagement techniques
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production and sanitation
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles including serving standards and customer service excellence
- Experience managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Barista experience is a plus for roles involving beverage service or coffee station management
