We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie with experience in pizza preparation to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and supporting the kitchen operations to ensure exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to company recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of the pizza station to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations, with a focus on pizza making
- Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within a restaurant setting
- Previous restaurant experience, ideally within a busy pizzeria or similar establishment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in serving customers is advantageous but not essential
