The role
We are looking for a number of
LGV Class 1 Drivers
to support our operations based out of
our E3 warehouse in South Elmsall, Pontefract.
Base salary
of £
18.05 per hour
. We also pay
additional premium rates*

rest day working of x1.5

What you’ll take on
You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation
- Transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores.

Adopt a ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.
Most shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 which includes 2 full weekends in 10 and some other weekend days.
We have multiple shifts available:

Band A starts
between
02:50 and 06:30
, totalling
42 hours
per week.

Band B starts
between
06:30 and 11:00
, totalling
42 hours
per week.

Band C
starts
between
11:00 and 17:00,
totalling
45 hours
per week.

Band A starts
between
02:50 and 06:30

42 hours

Band E is 4 on 4 off
and
starts
between
21:30 and 02:00
, totalling
40.25 hours
per week.
What you’ll bring
- Class 1 C+E
license holders with a CPC card
-
Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV
driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers
-
Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions or disqualifications.
Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Saturday Night (22:00-06:00) £25.40 per hour
