Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cafe All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a high standard of service and have a flexible approach to various tasks within the café setting. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks as per customer orders
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet food safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and handling payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, kitchen, and equipment
- Restock supplies and ensure all stock is stored correctly
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods using good time management skills
- Support team members with general duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the café
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when needed
