Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our team as Bar Staff.
The relevant person must have experience and a personal license holder would be preferred.
This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a positive environment
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables when necessary
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desired.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- A responsible attitude towards health and safety regulations
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol legally
