We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to join our team in our busy pub based in Grange-over-sands.
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working General Assistant to join our team. This is a varied full-time role, with live-in accommodation available in a shared flat.
The role will be predominantly focused on housekeeping with some front of house work and occasional kitchen support as required.
Housekeeping is a vitally important part of this position. Duties will include cleaning and maintaining the pub, beer garden, restaurant areas and our 6 en suite rooms to an exceptionally high standard. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, organised and takes real pride in their work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning guest rooms and en suites to a very high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the pub, restaurant and beer garden
- Assisting with laundry, stock and general housekeeping tasks
- Supporting front of house service when needed
- Helping in the kitchen occasionally, depending on business needs
- Working as part of a friendly, busy team
The ideal candidate will be:
- Meticulous with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Friendly, flexible and willing to help wherever needed
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but the right attitude is most important
