We're looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at our busy Pub and deli. If you take pride in creating fresh, seasonal dishes, enjoy leading a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Head Chef, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared to a consistently high standard while maintaining a positive, organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
Design and update seasonal menus for both the pub and deli.
Prepare and serve high-quality, freshly made food.
Manage stock ordering, stock control and supplier relationships.
Ensure food costs are managed effectively without compromising quality.
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
Manage kitchen rotas and support staff training and development.
Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
What We're Looking For
Must Have Previous experience as a Head Chef
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures.
The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
