As an expanding property maintenance solutions company we are looking for experienced general multi-trade engineers to join our team and work on with our client base which is predominately the pub, restaurant and hotel sector working with market leading brands.
We are based in King’s Lynn and operate throughout East Anglia, largely in the North Norfolk Area. We are seeking to recruit to cover parts of Essex, London, Herts and Cambs.
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work with both power and hand tools effectively. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficient in using various electrical tools and equipment including power tools and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
