We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and highly flexible Trusted Site Key Holder to take responsibility for opening and securing our Wolverhampton site each day.
This is a key position within the business, requiring someone who can be depended upon to ensure the site is accessible for our drivers during the early morning and secured again once operations have finished in the evening.
Working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, so flexibility is essential. Some days will require very early morning starts, while others may involve split shifts with an evening return to lock up the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold keys and be responsible for the security of the site.
- Open the premises early each morning to allow drivers access.
- Secure and lock the site each evening after all drivers have returned.
- Carry out routine security checks when opening and closing the premises.
- Ensure gates, buildings and equipment are secured correctly.
- Liaise with management regarding daily operational requirements.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or security concerns promptly.
- Assist with basic site organisation and housekeeping where required.
- Respond calmly and professionally to any unexpected situations outside normal operating hours.
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant will be:
- Honest, reliable and exceptionally trustworthy.
- Flexible with working hours, including early mornings and evenings.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organised and capable of managing daily opening and closing responsibilities.
- Possess a full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Comfortable using a mobile phone to communicate with management and drivers.
- YOU MUST LIVE IN THE WOLVERHAMPTON AREA.
Working Hours
- Minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Hours will vary according to business requirements.
- Early morning starts are essential.
- Evening attendance is required to allow returning drivers access and to secure the site.
- Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
