Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of quick-service menu items with speed and consistency, ensuring timely delivery to customers
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food storage and sanitation practices
- Assist in assembling meals quickly during busy hours, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and health department guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests
- Familiarity with restaurant equipment, including grills, fryers, and prep stations
- Previous experience serving or interacting directly with customers is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
