Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms and communal areas. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with organisational standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Assist with additional tasks such as laundry or organising supplies when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
